Rogelio Olguin has 6 plus years experience in the cg / game industry with one triple A game under his belt. He was honored SONY imageworks scholarship while in SVA for his excellence in Lighting and Rendering. He has contributed in "The Hows and Whys of Level Design - Second Edition" book by: Sjoerd De Jong, as well has work published from UT2004 in the "The art of game worlds" Author: Dave Morris and Leo Hartas. Recently has finished his studies in the "School of Visual Arts" in NYC coming out with the best short of the year, voted by judges around the NYC CG community. "Abyssus" has been presented in several VFX conventions such as "MetroCaf 2009" and "plsaf2009". "Abyssus" was completed in two years time as his thesis that was also equally contributed as dual Directors with Christian Haniszewski. Before School of Visual arts he worked on "Unreal Tournament 2004" as a contract level designer and concept artist. He worked in a mod group titled "Tactical ops", which later became the winner of the "Make Something Unreal Contest" in which it was chosen as first place. The game acquired retail statues with "Infogrames” now know as "Atari" and was promptly finished and released. The game at the time was considered one of the top 20 multiplayer action online games. He loves art in general, and is very fond of traditional art. Rogelio is currently working at 4mm games, LLC as 3D generalist and Concept artist.
